Jennifer has been leading fitness and movement classes since 1998. She was initially drawn to yoga for its physical benefits, and soon discovered it as the key to so much more - a practice leading us down a path of self-discovery. Jennifer is an ambitious traveler, having left her native Midwest in 2000 to spend two years working and studying in Spain and Brazil. She then moved to San Diego to complete her graduate degree in Latin American Studies. Now living and teaching in San Diego, Jennifer is fascinated by the exploration of the mind-body connection and the transformation that yoga brings.
Jennifer studied the art of Vinyasa (flow) Yoga with Ganga White and Tracy Rich of the White Lotus Foundation. She is also an ACE certified personal trainer. She continues to attend workshops and conferences with numerous teachers, and encourages her students to build greater self-awareness, empowerment, and peace through their yoga practice. While practicing we learn about ourselves physically, work with our emotions and expectations, and eventually learn to let go. Jennifer enjoys sharing the benefits of yoga with people of all ages and backgrounds, placing emphasis in breath awareness, safety, and alignment.
